Shades retail store began in 2004. Now in four locations across Alabama, they are owned by Joe & Mary Jernigan. Our locations in Alabama are: Eastern Shore Center in Spanish Fort, The Wharf and Palm Pointe in Orange Beach, and Midtown Village in Tuscaloosa.
At Shades, obviously, we specialize in name brand sunglasses such Oakley, Maui Jim, and Costa. What is not as obvious, is our lines of casual, southern class and sporting, men and women's apparel, from Vineyard Vines, Southern Tide, Southern Point, to Columbia and Guy Harvey. If you haven't seen our distinctive clothing lines geared toward the Southern active lifestyle, then you need to visit one of our stores soon!
